The Artist in CJ

I believe CJ is growing to be an artistic and imaginative and creative kid. She’s been scribbling with her crayons since this summer and always asking for paper where she could write her amazing artwork. She likes to draw too in her magnet board. She has something with dots and lines that however magulo they seem, it appears to be a great artistic job for a two year old like her.

Take a good look at these:

Do you know what these pictures are from my baby’s perspective?

She told me its "Pato", the duck character in the cartoon show, Pocoyo.
While working at my desk, she suddenly approached me saying, "Mommy, si Pato." Pointing at what she just created, a yellow PlayDoh container with a green cup turned upside down, her version of Pato. I was so amazed at my child that I instantly took a picture of her Pato.

By the way, here, take a look at the Pato kids see on TV.

Pato

Amazing! :)

I don’t know how I found your blog while researching for my class. I also don’t remember having an account here (although apparently, it says I am signed in as Kim — me). But I was amazed at your kid. She’s really something. I hope you’ll give her you full support in anything she might choose. Don’t push her too hard but encourage her still.
I have a brother like that. He really has the making of a great man. When he was younger, he was a great artist, winning competitions in school, for the school, and outside school. After that, he got into sports–specifically basketball. He excelled in that, too. Although not as much as he is excelling now in his current obsession. Music. And
I think this is where he’ll stay. He’s only 14 and in 2nd year high school but he has already performed a gig in a bar with seniors in his school (who brought him with them to play!). He also had various gigs, pulled by people here and there to play for their local events. He also succesfully participated in their recent school variety show wherein he was this time taken under the wing of juniors in their school. He tells me sometimes that he’s really happy because everyone seems to note the potential in him. He dreams of someday becoming a huge name in the Philippines’ music industry. Let’s all hope for the success of our future littler ones (although my brother’s not that little anymore! :p).
